Settling in sessions
For children to be able to learn and grow, they must first feel safe and happy. Children are welcome to have as many settling in sessions as they need until they begin to feel secure at pre-school, usually a maximum of two is sufficient. Settling in sessions are at no cost to parents.

All parents will be either emailed or called approximately one month before their child's start date to arrange their settling in sessions.

Settling in plan
Prior to your child starting pre-school, you will be asked to complete an All About Me form providing us with information about your child's needs, wants, likes and their family and friends. This information is for your child's key person to prepare and support your child.

Some children are unsettled when their parent leaves them initially, no matter how many visits they have had. We will work with you to ensure that you and your child are supported fully through this transition process. We are all mothers too and understand fully how difficult and emotional this parting can be.
